1. The Selection Process is overwhelming

At Midwest Homes we have an on staff Interior Designer who works with you.  This allows us to coordinate all of your selections for color and materials, helps you stay on budget with your selections, and on time with your selections. We spread the deadlines for selections out so you don’t have to select the whole house at once, which makes the process easy for our homeowners.

  1. Your home won’t be finished on time

At Midwest homes we use a software program called Co-Construct. Our trade partners & homeowners can log in daily to see their construction progress. We post photos along the way of the different phases of the project. We have a calendar that tracks all the tasks to the final completion of the home.

  1. Most builders don’t build quality homes

Midwest Homes has been building for 48 years. That is possible because we build high quality homes that our satisfied clients tell other buyers about.  Our Realtor, Sheri St Marie, is happy to show you a model and point out our quality, labor and finishes. We can also provide a sample of our specification contract so you can see and compare what goes into our homes that make the difference. Our builder, Brian McKee, has very high standards regarding who can work for Midwest Homes and those standards ultimately benefit our clients.

  1. My house will cost me more at the end of the project

We interview our clients during the design phase of the home and include the products and features that the homeowner desires and fits into the budget. The only way the price of the home changes is if you go over your allowance items or go under the cost of your allowance items, these changes are put on a change order.

  1. Once my house is built, I will never hear from the builder again

At Midwest Homes, we have an open communication policy, you can call or email the customer service representative with questions or warranty concerns. We do a 12 month walk through of the home to review the maintenance of the home and to inspect for any warranty items that need to be addressed. Once you build with Midwest Homes Inc. you are part of our family.
